Meet the Team
Sitecore PowerShell Extensions is built and maintained by two developers who have been shaping the Sitecore ecosystem for over a decade.
Adam Najmanowicz
Creator, Architect & Lead Developer
Adam created SPE in 2011, bringing the idea of a PowerShell-driven CMS console from an earlier EPiServer prototype into the Sitecore world. He built the core engine, the Sitecore integration points, and the GUI support that turned a simple console into a full development platform. He also served as Tech Lead and Architect of the Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA). Adam is a seven-time Sitecore Technology MVP and currently a Lead Backend Developer at VML.
Michael West
Developer & Documentation Lead
Michael joined the project in 2013 and spent five years as its sole maintainer, shipping every release from version 5.0 through 7.0. He built SPE Remoting (174,000+ downloads on the PowerShell Gallery), authored the comprehensive documentation at doc.sitecorepowershell.com, created the nine-episode video tutorial series, and co-authored a chapter in Professional Sitecore 8 Development. Michael is a ten-time Sitecore Technology MVP – a distinction shared by very few in the ecosystem.
